Conceptual Building Blocks: Supporting Fraction Sense 2 Day Training

July 13 - July 14

THIS IS A TWO DAY TRAINING: JULY 13TH AND JULY 14TH, 8:30-3:30 both days. SESC is pleased to present Conceptual Building Blocks trainings for teachers of mathematics. With a focus on modeling, rich discussion, and deep conceptual understanding, these trainings are designed to strengthen core mathematics instruction as well as offer strategies that address the needs of students in intervention and students with disabilities. Each training will include three virtual support sessions as follow-up to assist teachers in implementing the strategies shared. This training is FREE to SESC members. SESC Event Cancellation Policy – In the event of inclement weather, SESC will cancel events based upon the cancellation of school by the county school district in which the event is to be held. For example, an event scheduled in Pineville Independent School District would be cancelled if school in Bell County School District was cancelled for the day. Please check media announcements for cancellation of school for inclement weather.
